THE AUTHORS
Anne Berest
After completing an Arts degree, Anne Berest began her career at the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris, where she founded and became editor of Les Carnets du Rond-Point. In 2008, she adapted and directed Patrick Modiano’s Un Pedigree, in collaboration with Edouard Baer. Told with sensitivity and incredible authenticity, La Fille de son père is the story of three sisters trapped in a family secret. In this remarkable first novel, the author immerses us in a tangled web of family ties. Its construction is reminiscent of the universes of Claude Chabrol and Arnaud Desplechin.
